It’s a little late in the year, but I decided to search “color of the year 2020” in Google. Why? I wanted to see if it might be a good wardrobe or background color.
The PANTONE Color of the Year 2020 is PANTONE 19-4052 Classic Blue.
PANTONE describes the color on its website as:
“Instilling calm, confidence, and connection, this enduring blue hue highlights our desire for a dependable and stable foundation on which to build as we cross the threshold into a new era.”
First, I could not think of better words or a better color for the present time as we continue to evolve through the COVID-19 pandemic. As an answer to my initial question, I could see Classic Blue being a both a good wardrobe color and a good background color for a photo session, depending on the desired look and overall impact desired from the resulting images.
